Kids & family

Gentle care, from infants to teens.

Our pediatric work is neurologically focused and drug-free. Dr. Tran and Dr. Louie are both certified through the PX Docs pediatric chiropractic program, and the adjustments we use for children are low-force and specific, nothing like what you're picturing.

What we're looking at

How your child's nervous system copes with stress.

A child's nervous system runs everything: digestion, sleep, immune response, attention, coordination. When it's stuck in a stress pattern, that shows up in all sorts of ways parents notice long before anyone measures it.

Our INSiGHT scans give us three views of that: heart-rate variability, thermography, and surface EMG. No needles, no radiation, and kids generally find it interesting rather than scary. The scans tell us where to work and, just as usefully, whether what we're doing is helping.

Families we see

Parents usually come to us about one of these.

Some are straightforward. Others are long roads where we're one part of a bigger care team, and we're comfortable in either role.

  • Colic
  • Reflux
  • Recurring ear infections
  • Trouble latching or feeding
  • Sleep difficulties
  • Sensory processing challenges
  • Gut and immune concerns
  • ADHD
  • Autism spectrum
  • Seizure disorders
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Neurodevelopmental delays
  • Posture and scoliosis screening
  • Sports injuries in teens
To be clear about what this is. Chiropractic care doesn't cure these conditions and it doesn't replace your child's pediatrician, neurologist, therapists, or medication. What we offer is gentle, drug-free care aimed at how well the nervous system is adapting, alongside the rest of your child's team. We'll tell you honestly if we don't think we can help.
What a kids' visit looks like

Nothing sudden. Nothing loud.

1

You do the talking first

Birth history, feeding, sleep, milestones, and what made you pick up the phone. Bring notes, because parents always remember more than they expect to.

2

The scan

Your child sits or lies still for a few minutes. Nothing touches them but a sensor. We go through the results with you on screen.

3

Low-force adjusting

For an infant, it's about the pressure you'd use to check a ripe tomato. Older kids get a bit more, but never a twist or a crack unless it's appropriate and you've agreed to it.

4

You watch, and we re-scan

You'll be told what to look for at home. We re-scan periodically so progress is something we can see, not just something we hope for.

Dr. Kristy Tran
Who cares for your child

PX Docs certified.

Both Dr. Tran and Dr. Louie completed the PX Experience pediatric chiropractic program, which trains doctors specifically in neurologically focused care for infants and children, including kids with autism spectrum and other developmental challenges.

Norma, our clinic director, has pediatric experience and INSiGHT scan training too, so there's always someone in the room who's done this a thousand times.
